The dimmers work, vary the amount of current through the filament of an incandescent bulb. The less frequent, less bright tungsten filament.
ReplyDeleteThe CFL say, or compact fluorescent lamps. Fluorescent lamps require a certain amount of electricity to cause an electrical arc through the gas. If you reduce the quantity of electricity is, the ball just light up.
