Ge Bulbs Why Can't Those New GE Environmentally Friendly Light Bulbs Work With A Dimmer?

Why can't those new GE environmentally friendly light bulbs work with a dimmer? - ge bulbs

You may know that I speak. They look like a spring and probably consume less energy. It is said, can not be used with a voltage regulator, in the ball, why?

  1. The dimmers work, vary the amount of current through the filament of an incandescent bulb. The less frequent, less bright tungsten filament.

    The CFL say, or compact fluorescent lamps. Fluorescent lamps require a certain amount of electricity to cause an electrical arc through the gas. If you reduce the quantity of electricity is, the ball just light up.
